1. Basic understanding of process engineering
2. Aspen Plus Software installed on your computer
3. Have a Computer
4. Have a Desire
In this part the instructor shows and visualizes how binary analysis could be used to design distillation column. Also in order to prove his design, he uses Aspen Plus simulation environment, creates the flowsheet, and finally run the software. The result was in good shape.
In this part you are taught how to not only generate ternary diagram but also use them to design a distillation unit for a mixture.
In this part he performs the comparison between calculation based on different property methods and validates each with calculation based on experimental data from NIST.At the ends he concludes that peng robinson variant is not a good choice when we deal with polar mixtures.
In last part he devotes his time to PT Envelope and shows which kinds of data could be extracted when a process engineer uses the feature in Aspen Plus.
