In this part the instructor shows how new chemicals in special application could be defined in Aspen Plus; then not only does he draw the structure of the chemical in Aspen Plus, but also, he provides Aspen Plus with some properties such as normal boiling point to make Aspen Plus recognise the chemical and as a result estimate some of the chemical properties.

In this minute the instructor simulates the process of new drug production and ultimately compares the drug characteristic created based on chemicals whose properties are taken from Aspen Databank and chemicals whose properties are defined by user.
